My brother’s new house missed a clock on the wall, so I decided to make him one. Starting with some inspiration from the internet, I ended up with a concave and a convex design:

My daughters were split on choosing the best one; my brother went for convex.

They are about 30cm in diameter, can be easily cut from thin plywood on Lasersaur and assembled with wood glue in about an hour. You’ll have to figure out how to hang them on the wall (especially the concave one!)

Should this project interest you, feel free to ask, I’ll be glad to share the design and cutting file. I even have some clockworks (clock mechanisms) left over.

See you at the space!
